Mr Locust,

Why Manchester? Isn't Derby closer?

I took mine to Derby just over 12 months ago. All the cars from Caterham Midlands go to Derby, and they know the car well.

I found the testers at Derby very knowlegble and helpfull.

It may be worth giving the guys at Caterham Midlands a call for all the latest SVA requirments.

Just completed my re-test on Monday at Cadderton (Manchester) here's what they pulled me on

Edges (must have 2.5mm radius)

Remove front number plate

Remove tax dish holder on screen upright

Remove Aces control box from bulkhead adjacent to fuse box

Fit cover to drivers door hinges

Slight brake fluid leak on front caliper

A line drawn vertical from the front of the wheel rim must be covered by the cycle wing,

(mine was'nt it was about 12mm short ? even though I drilled it where Caterham had marked it. Had to have larger temporary wings sent up from Caterham)

Headlamp aligement incorrect, (you can do this at the time of test)

Stack speed verification (required SVA statement from Stack)

Hope this helps

Thanks BC theres a couple of extra things to check in there that I hadn't been made aware of.

Richard - Simple matter of dates. Having had a request in for Derby for a few weeks, I phoned the centre to see if the paperwork had landed and get an idea on date. As of this week I could have had end of May at Derby or next Thursday at Manchester. So I asked for it to be transferred to Manchester. *wink*
