martynr
I'm currently fitting an ex Caterham 1400 ss into a Banham kit car and after some confusion with a 'specialist' I have been left with a box of looms and ECU's (don't ask !!) only one ECU has two plug sockets, is this the Caterham one ? Thanks for any help
Bob Corb
Probably not, the 1400SS engine only has one connector as its an EU2 version. The ecu's with 2 connectors are either early VVC ones (square and flat, one red plug) or later EU3 versions (cheese wedge shaped). Caterham dont make an EU3 1400 SS. Allen Payne
My 1400 non-superport had two plugs on the ECU - I think they are very early 1400's from Rover. Regards Allen
