Bigape
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem .its an intermittent problem turn ignition on gauges flicked fuel pump starts. No ignition light .Immobiliser flickers.Fiddle around with key fob eventually the ignition light comes on immobiliser static light and it will start .Run for a few days without any problem then it goes dead again. It happened before about 3 month ago wouldn't start ,trailered to kenricks .They said the battery was faulty, change the battery(banner) not had any problems till today .Could it be the battery again?Any suggestions would be help full. Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 27, 2022 Member Share Posted June 27, 2022 Is that fiddling with the key fob with the key in the barrel and the ignition switched on? Or the fob for the immobiliser? It sounds as if it could be intermittent contact in the switches in the barrel of the column lock. Any work on it since that episode?Did the ignition light previously come on with the ignition and immediately extinguish on starting?Yes, it could be another battery problem:, start (!) by * Checking the fluid level and topping up if necessary. * Measuring the battery voltage at rest, minimum during cranking, and at 3,000 rpm and letting us know.Would you like a wiring diagram?Jonathan
