1596cc Hayabusa

Ultimate Gen 1 engine that was built by Dan Mackenzie of DM Racing in March 2019 at a cost of £12K. New parts included over sized valves, CNC ported head, forged pistons, steel rods, steel crank, uprated clutch and output shaft. In addition the following parts were used from the previous engine,  SBD throttle bodies, SBD dry sump, hydraulic clutch and uprated 5^th & 6^th gears. Full specification including invoices will be provided. 75 miles completed since engine was built.

History

I acquired the car in July 2017. I have developed the car during my ownership and has a number of Class wins in the club’s speed championship. I also have a file full of receipts and invoices to document what work has been done. Yeah Tazio, it's a shame, but I think he was finding it was getting increasingly more difficult to fit in the seat (Ok ok I know how that feels too!)
