Air filter options on K series with Jenveys

Hi

i have a K series with Jenvey ITBs. Is there an air filter available now that works with the standard fuel rail?

There is the Bernard Scouse airbox that also points the air filter to the front of the car. Contact Dave Andrews at DVA Power for further. Retains the standard fuel rail.

In a past life (ie. pre-RBTBs when I had Jenveys) my setup had 30-40mm extension tubes between the TB inlets and the filter backplate, this created a longer inlet tract to give more torque and also moved the filter backplate well away from the fuel rail. The previous owner of my car had them fabricated and I'm sure I have a dimensional drawing somewhere so I'll see if I can find it. Basically four machined tubes with a flange at each end to suit the TB/trumpet mounting faces.

You can buy backplates to take a JC40/50/65  type deep filter that are blank on eBay or at ATPower , you can then cut the appropriate holes to suit the Jenveys.

Hi Julian, why do you want to replace the BS air box? Just curious. Longer intake trumpets?
