Anton Posted April 16, 2022 Share Posted April 16, 2022 I've had to have a helicoil fitted for the sump plug due to impact damage. First attempt the helicoil and plug pulled out when tightened. Second attempt it holds, but weeps oil.So I'm after a replacement Caterham Rover 1.8 K Series wet sump. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

An alternative may be to drill out the hole quite a bit bigger and get a larger bit of better quality aluminium dowel welded in. Then drill and tap that.
