Comp Sec
Just had some feedback from the organisers and it seems that there is a (probably true) perception that we as a club get preference for the garages. Last year we were given 2 and it caused many complaints from other competitors that we then booked another 2. So I have manged to negotiate that we will be allocated 3 garages on the understanding that nobody then books extra garages in their own name. So can I ask that nobody tries to book garages on Monday. if they do I am sure that will disqualify us from any pre-allocation in future years. So if we look at this thread the order of booking is as follows....Top 24:Justin DobsonRoger LeggSimon HoughtonClive MarsdenChris WhitlowChris AlstonGraham HowardRoger CummingGrahame WardallRichard PriceDan MalkinMike SankeyIan JonesCharlie WilsonPaul CollinsTony SmithJonathan HeyesBen WilliamsRobert JacobsPaul BostonIvan PullenJohn ClarkeSteve CauseyRob Spencer That makes 24...so unfortunately that leaves Philip, Jeremy, Rob, Laura and Aled out in the sunshine. Unless somebody would give up their space in favour of using their own paddock awning?I will be emailing this to make sure that everyone sees it. Dannyboy
Taking the point noted however Graham - when walking up and down the pitlane at Anglesey it's always notable that some garages have single occupancy or at most 2 cars contained therein and that toward the far end of the garage complex at least 1 has been empty. The issues seems to lay with other championships and competitors being reluctant to share space..... Leadership Team robj Posted March 17, 2022 Leadership Team Share Posted March 17, 2022 Graham, very well done for securing 3, I am sure if the weather is bad we can squeeze either 9 or 10 cars in as long as we are allocated the high number garages close to the pit lane exit (which don't have a central pillar). Comp Sec
Just had 1 withdrawal which makes only 3 cars without a space, I am sure we could squeeze in 9 per garage if its damp.

Comp Sec
Thanks Jeremy for giving up your space, that only leaves Aled and "graearea" out in the cold. Sorry graearea but I don't know your actual name! And I really would prefer if you could pay me by PayPal, instructions on my last email, as it will save me dealing with lots of cash on the day. This is how it looks now....508Simon Houghton1509Steve Causey1510Paul Boston1511Ivan Pullen1512Charlie Wilson1513John Clarke1520Roger Cumming2521Ian Jones2534Dan Malkin3538Rob Clay3539Roger Legg3543Grahame Wardall3546Paul Collins3547Philip Matchwick3548Graham Howard3550Justin Dobson3551Jonathan Heyes3553Richard Price3554Clive Marsden3555Robert Jacobs3570Rob Spencer4571Chris Alston4573Chris Whitlow4574Mike Sankey4541Aled Garner3
Grahame W
Another garage space now available as I have had to scratch my entry due to continued non arrival of new tow carHope weather is kind to all of you and you have a great first event of the seasonGrahame
Tony Smith
Hi GrahameThat's such a shame!!Can't you pop a tow bar on the E Type? Hopefully see you soonTony
Geoff Corker
Tony, you are just being silly. The size of the petrol bowser that would also need to be towed would leave no room for the Caterham!
Tony Smith
ah yes, its a good job i cant afford an E Type!!its a bit of a worry how much diesel my old van is going to need for the season, I suspect that its going to be about the same as the entry fees. Its becoming an ever more expensive hobby, although Rishi is doing his bit to help!!! Drumster
If you regularly use Esso it's definitely worth getting a fuel card as it's one of MUK benefits. Normally saves me a couple of quid on pump price every time I fill up, not a fortune but every little helps .
