Beagler
Replaced N/S indicator repeater and it aint working. After investigation its a bad earth on the mudguard stay, the whole stay not just where the repeater wire mounts. If I earth to brake hose or bonnet catch it works. Any suggestions please. SM25T
Clean the earth point on the stay back to bare metal and reconnect the earth. Then paint over the top.

Beagler
Plan is drill hole in flat plate near where wire exits stay and attach with small rivnut and screw. Run wire with feed to an earth under nose. This should earth stay and enable use of earth point near repeater.

Beagler
I thought using a piece of wire might be better.
Beagler
Sorted. Just need to fasten other end to existing earth point on brake pipe junction, paint over spade terminal and connect repeater.
