PROBE2
Hii am looking for a blue bottom plate as fitted to the k series dry sump bell tank.has anyone got one surplus to requirements thanksPaul
Wrightpayne
I don't have one spare, however when inspecting mine when fitting it, it doesn't look anything special. Only machining was recesses for the four small cap head bolts so they dont protrude too much. Not sure why its blue either??Good luck with the search.IanPS - if you need pics / measurements I can get in a couple of weeks - other car in bits at the moment and strewn over the garage! PROBE2
Thanks Ian Hope you are well.Making one as you suggest looks option or make a drain plug version.I would still consider a blue plate version for ease.Ian, ok if I come back on measurements? kind regardsPaul

Englishmaninwales
Paul, I have copied one recently, really easy to do, with aluminium sheet purchased from eBay (100 x 100 x 6mm for £3.80). I didn't bother with the recesses for the caphead fixings, as when fitted the rear of the sump is lower. It is useful to have the belltank off the car to ensure the final position of the bolt holes is absolutely correct.MalcolmEdit to add: I can loan you an original one to copy, on a rapid turn around as will be fitting system shortly.
