SM25T
In my experience, the chrome peels off after a very short life. I noticed today that Sevens & Classics sell stainless wheel nuts.

Wrightpayne
I have black open wheel nuts which are for a mk1 elise - same thread and taper for the Caterham 8 spokes. They came from eliseparts who sell chrome ones too.
Guy Lowe
For safety I prefer open wheel nuts, got a set from Dave at https://www.gemzoe.com/ I would have thought that Chris at http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/ Would also stock them. BenF
The open wheel nuts are lighter as well, I forget how much you save but I weighed them when changing mine and it was more than you might think.

Terry Field
#7 Can't find the s/s ones on the Sevens and Classics website - no search facility? Are they open or capped nuts and how much?
SM25T
In their link to upgrades .... there is a multi page document of parts. Edit .... admittedly I can't find it now either. I think they gave a link to their price list in a thread on FB. Nothing comes up for 'nuts' in the search box on their site. I recall £60 for a set of 16 ?
