Sooty
Advice please re lightened flywheel suppliers as I'm struggling to get a price out of TTV, having sent 2 enquiries via their web site and telephoned them. Is this normal service? I have found another supplier - RWD Motorsport in Colne Lancs - has anyone got any experience of their products?

7 wonders of the world
Speak to Ben Crisp @ TTV, Ben@ttvracing.com DO NOT even think about using Turbosport though - unless you enjoy going through the small claims court.
paul jacobs
If you have an existing flywheel, why not take it a good machine shop and get them to take off some metal. I did this some years ago on a X/F and a Vx 16v and they both worked fine afterwards. There is always the chance that ,if not done properly, it could come apart at speed of course,......................
7 wonders of the world
I'm guessing it's a X/flow based on the OP, in which case I would look to a steel version if your looking for any serious diet requirements as I've seen a lot of porosity in stock x/flow flywheels..... and considering where they operate in relation to your feet. Wrightpayne
I've read a few horror stories of lightened cast mini flywheels / backplates exploding. As 7WOW states needs to be EN40B if getting seriously light!

Tazio
TTV supplied mine direct to the engine builder, it's a 6 bolt 135 teeth, 3.8 kilo for a 7.5 inch clutch, the engne builder charged me £286.56, including Vat.
Sooty
Eventually got hold of TTV and now got a replica of Taz's flywheel. Looking forward to meeting it back up with quite close ratio box. Should be a bit livelier
