Rich.E
Can anyone recommend an alternative to the softbits steering wheel bag? Some sort of messenger bag maybe? thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 3, 2022 Member Share Posted January 3, 2022 You can now design your own Kånken.Happy New YearJonathanPS: In the days of leaving the house to go to work I used an Antler briefcase that could take the wheel and had hidden backstraps, bought with the advice of BlatChat! Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted January 3, 2022 Leadership Team Share Posted January 3, 2022 I have a Pacsafe Metrosafe LS200 which "just" fits a 260mm Momo, although I'd probably up-size to the LS250 if buying again. Definitely not cheap but it's a high quality functional bag, I bought it when browsing in Cotswold Outdoor with steering wheel in hand and suddenly thought ... perfect!https://pacsafe.co.uk/search?q=MetrosafeStu. Terry Field
Maybe not quite as secure as taking it with you (as long as you don't forget it when leaving the cafe!), is to chain it inside the boot to the roll bar. I use an ordinary cycle lock on the basis that an opportunist is unlikely to be carrying bolt cutters.
