Hanns Per
for a duratec with 50mm intake. The bodies should be short enough so that an airbox would fit under the bonnet. Does anyone have experience with this? thank YouHanns Per
7 wonders of the world
Jenvey offer TB's in 3 lengths in the conventional DCOE style fitting, 118, 90 or 30mm, manifolds and ram pipes will impact on these though.Ultimately the total inlet length will be governed by the engines requirements on the rollers, I run 90mm version and 95% of my air filter is outside the bonnet on my S3. Doc007
Is it possible to fit throttle bodies under the bonnet of an S3?
7 wonders of the world
Yes - but doing so often compromises the benefits and performance
krisfl
I think @7 wonders is spot on...I think there was a low flying article reviewing a Premier Power conversion which says exactly this. From memory PP did quite a bit of development to try and get a worth while performance benefit AND fit TBs under bonnet. There work concluded that you're better off cutting the bonnet...
