K7 VCT
Hi all, so my new speed sensor has finally arrived second time around from Caterham. It has to be screwed a long way through the plastic top hat adapter to get close to the ring on the drive shaft. However it's very tight and I think it will break .....if I have to get mole grips on it.... Anyone had same issues
Nigel B
I fitted one of those recently & I can't recall having any problems with it. I think the sensor screwed through the top hat part relatively easily. Plenty of lubricant perhaps?
ian.pursglove
I replaced mine after a minor amount of excess suspension travel [ahem]; sensor through the top hat was not a problem, but the screw on the other side as well was designed for someone with much smaller fingers than me. ChrisC
I find the sensor gets tight in the top hat if the top hat is fitted and locked into place.
K7 VCT
Trying to wind the sensor in before top hat fitted....
