Wrightpayne
Have you tried searching using imperial measurements?
Wrightpayne
This is close for the first one....https://caterhamparts.co.uk/bushes/2644-shortened-b636-2-bush.html
OldAndrewE
Are you talking about the rear radius arms? Quite possibly the same as S3 (the Lotus arms are curved). Even if they are not I would think Chris at Redline will have them as he is official Lotus 7 spares agent
OldAndrewE
The bush Ian (Wrightpayne) has linked says it is 13mm. You need 1/2", i.e. the 12.7 you have measured. There will be some play in the Caterham one. The bushes that I got from Redline for my old S3 measure at 12.7mm. The other one is 3/8"
Wrightpayne
The non-shortened bush carries the imperial dimensions 1 1/16" OD and 1/2" ID. I think the shortened version has rounding errors in the metric dimensions listed.https://caterhamparts.co.uk/bushes/3440-bush-wishbone-a-frame-radius-arm.html
OldAndrewE
And CC are getting confused between mm and cm in the 3440 bush dimensions I am not familiar with the later "metric" cars. Are the main suspension bolts still 1/2" or are they 13mm (I was assuming the latter)?
Wrightpayne
I'm only familiar with the brazed chassis and pre Sigma engines / Mazda boxes.
PeteG
Its an imperial car but my micrometer is metric so theres an element of rounding probably. I did try redline but they seem hard to get hold of. 1/2" and 3/8 sounds about right. Are these available from caterham? I`ll grab a picture of the links in question Cheers Pete
Tazio
If you are on Facebook, Chris Mintoft, the owner of Redline is on there and responds to messages, his normal contact is sales@redlinecomponents.co.uk.Alan
OldAndrewE
Keep trying Redline. Chris is essentially a one man show and he gets very busy at times.
