alcal
Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is please? It's an unpainted box about 50mm x 70mm bolted to the bulkhead next to the windscreen wiper motor. It has electrical wires coming from it plus an earth wire. It was the source of an annoying resonance (now fixed) and I'm just wondering what it does.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted September 24, 2021 Member Share Posted September 24, 2021 What colour are the wires? And can you add a photo, please?ThanksJonathan
Wrightpayne
Intermittent wiper module? Do the wires go to the wiper motor?
alcal
Thanks for your responses. The wires are wrapped and disappear into the top of the fuse box so I can't tell their colour. I have two speed wipers but no intermittent, as far as I know.
Benton
My immobiliser lives close to the wiper motor but has all identical black wires, no separate obvious earth wire

CPS7
No idea, but if it turns out it's a "black box" insurance tracker that's a few points heading into your license for sure...... :-)

Brian27
Glad it has been identified. I had exactly the same problem, with an annoying buzzing noise from it at certain revs.
