Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted August 2, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted August 2, 2022 I prefer the DS convertible!Certainly I don't see many of those Audis. Endless Audi lard-wagons, I do see.
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted August 9, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted August 9, 2022 On the Dieppe - Newhaven ferry today. There was also a half-timbered Moris Minor estate in tip top condition. Are they unusual enough to count?P.S. As I was at "Classic Days" I could post lots of pictures of cars there but I feel that is cheating and spotting in the real world is the better approach

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted August 24, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted August 24, 2022 TodayI rather fancied one of these when they were new but it wasn't a realistic thought. Now I wonder however one could pull out of a side road with bonnet as long as these have but it is good looking.
ptr_drvr
Love the XJS. I very nearly bought a V12 coupe back in 2013 (great condition, low miles, £1,500) but ended up with an XJ instead. Thought the straight 6 would be more reliable, but alas that car was riddled with electrical gremlins and I got rid 4 months later.

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted August 30, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted August 30, 2022 Transits lead a hard life, so I assume few survive; which may be said of most commercials. I suppose minibuses have it a bit easier than vans.

Colin Cooper
Not unusual in in the UK, but this trio was spotted at a small classic display in Courseulles sue Mer, Normandy, last Sunday.Couldn't get near a mint Matra Simca Bageera for a photo though! ptr_drvr
I was on holiday in Italy a week ago. Whilst enjoying a gelato overlooking the lake, waiting for the ferry across Lake Como from Varenna to Bellagio I spotted a classic Aston Martin and an old Ferrari. I abandoned my wife and baby to go and take a closer look where upon I see a Swiss plated RHD Aston DB6 in a lovely red colour parked next to a convertible Ferrari.Initially, I wasn't sure what model it was. I thought it might have been a 250, but surely nobody would be out actually driving a 250?! But when it was started up I noticed it sounded like a V12 and at that point I did a quick search only to discover it was in fact a Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder SWB, one of 55 made and worth in excess of $15 million... Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted September 21, 2022 Author Area Representative Share Posted September 21, 2022 Gelato stops are an important part of any Italian holiday. This one was an excellent choice.
Toby S
The Aston is the spit of one I was offered by a friend of my Mum and Dad when I was 23 back in 1989 after his sight had gone and he had to give up his license - I foolishly turned him down and bought an RX7 instead - he offered it to me for £14k - what a mistake-aa to make-aa. ptr_drvr
Wow, what an opportunity! In situations like that, i like to reassure myself that the bulk of the profit would have been taken in storage and maintenance costs over the years.
