OldAndrewE
What size wheel has the car got at the moment, dished or flat and what is it like for reach and steering effort (and also getting in and out)?
Neil220
I'd say it depends on your seats, floor and size of your body and legs!My car is an S3 and I'm 6'1" average build (13 stone)My car has a 270mm momo wheel (about 10½") and I would struggle to drive it with a bigger wheel. Beagler
The existing momo is 11 ish and flat. Wondering whether the extra half inch either side would be better. Flat would still work as the existing wheel is ok at the distance it is. Just really wondering on the size.
OldAndrewE
I would suggest driving it for a while, you will then get a better idea if you would like something a bit bigger

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 14, 2021 Leadership Team Share Posted September 14, 2021 I have two Momo wheels, on the road I use an 11" Momo (280mm) which I prefer to my smaller (260mm) wheel. On track though the 280mm feels massive compared to the smaller wheel and becomes a burden, this is where the small wheel excels. This is mated to a 22% quick rack, if I didn't have the 22% version I'd likely use the smaller wheel all the time.I think 12" (305mm) would feel excessive in a Seven.Stu. John Vine
My Moto-Lita is 11.5" (290mm) and feels about right for road use, although it does obscure the shift lights somewhat:JV
Beagler
Maybe get 12 inch half an inch on yours wont hurt.Does the Motolita boss for Caterhams go on the splines on the shaft.
John Vine
According to CC Parts, my wheel is listed as 11", with this boss. I certainly wouldn't want to go any larger.Does the Motolita boss for Caterhams go on the splines on the shaft.Yes, but I don't know what the Moto-Lita part number is.JV
Tazio
The 290mm wheel with a 22% rack is for me the perfect combination, steering seems to become a thought process. A larger wheel and a slower rack just means the steering inputs just go up, making catching the car is harder. I don't understand what the OP wants to achieve, the car with a 280/290mm wheel are not heavy, so why the need to go larger?
Beagler
Just measured mine thought it was an 11 inch in fact its 10 1/4 or 260mm 12 inch would be too near side screen so its 11 inch or 280 mm I thinkTalked to lady at Motolita and its a B20 Boss Thanks again guys for your input have ordered 11 inch
