7Up
I always seem to end up scratching them no matter how careful! what are the best ways? I am asking for good condition screens, not old ones in need of renovation

Area Representative Geoff Brown Posted August 30, 2021 Area Representative Share Posted August 30, 2021 This is the product I have always used & would personally recommend on all sorts of soft & hard clear components including aircraft canopies. SM25T
The big danger is the grit lodged in the seams around the edges.
David Brown
Off topic, Jonathan I see you used DuckDuckGo for your search. Do you find that better for searching here than Google?
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 30, 2021 Member Share Posted August 30, 2021 Hi, David.I find that site-restricted searching using an external search engine works much better for me than either of the site's built-in search methods.Using that method DuckDuckGo and Google seem to be about the same. I don't like Google's business model, and try to avoid its products when possible.I'll bounce the discussion of searching in case anyone wants to discuss this: https://www.lotus7.club/comment/2372486#comment-2372486Jonathan
Neil Allen
I was cleaning my full hood using Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care when I had senior moment and accidentally thoroughly sprayed the nearside transparent side screen. It stopped me in my tracks for moment or two before I grabbed a clean rag and rubbed the side windows before it melted into gloop. Much to my surprise my sidescreen was cleaner and clearer that it had been for years. So I cleaned inside and it came up crystal clear too. So I did the driver's side too.Several months later both sidescreens are still crystal clear.A much, much better result than I had achieved with Meguiar's Plast-RX. MarkD
#7 I also use the Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care on my hood, boot cover and side screens and agree it works a treat.
