Rich.E
Hello, first post & I need a bit of information. I'm fitting a power socket using the caterham fuse box cover, it has some cut outs on the edge, but these don't seem to line up with anything. what it the correct position to fit this? Rich.E
the parts I have are 30L090A (fusebox cover) and 30L112A (power socket) the assembly guide does not show an exact position. my car is RHD 2010
K7 VCT
Surely the power socket fits into the pre cut hole in the fuse cover panel, there's a live feed under the dash in that area to use, it has a insulated spade terminal on the cable to use

But where does that cover come into it?JonathanEdited: Crossed post.
Rich.E
Yes, I'm ok with that bit, it's just the position of the cover, I'll be securing with velcro, but how far to the left or right should it go? or does it not matter?
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 18, 2021 Member Share Posted August 18, 2021 Ah... is this the hole for the socket?Jonathan

Area Representative bluenose Posted October 21, 2021 Area Representative Share Posted October 21, 2021 Anyone else fitted one of these fuse box covers and did it need modifying to fit the bit that tucks under the dashboard? Mine seems a bit tight although I have got a main circuit board for the dash that may be hampering fitment? Nick
BrettJ
Mine is very tight too and could stay in place without the Velcro, I've installed it as is.
Area Representative bluenose Posted October 24, 2021 Area Representative Share Posted October 24, 2021 Fitted the fusebox cover today. Had to trim it to fit and used a piece of channel to hold it in place with some rubber on the top. I bought a ready made lead with 12v socket from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07R6FYX7N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&th=
