simon_h
Not tried it but it looks pretty similar to the old ‘snap off’ wheel bosses that used to be fitted to Elise’s. They worked fine although this might be a bit bulky behind the wheel. Worth a look but if you get all parts it’s a costly option
K7 VCT
I keep thinking of replacing my lifeline caterham one with a playskool works bell version
Titanium7
I've had this type of thing on my LR Defender for several years. I believe it's made by Optimill. Well engineered and strong.i personally like the Rapfix solution for no wear and ease of use.
Aerial_stu
I've found other options that look better (Rapfix). Has anyone had any issues with fitting a non-Caterham quick realease when it comes to MOT?
Drumster
Another for Rapfix. No problems at MOT and they see me remove/replace when getting in and out through the cage.

Philip L Anderson
I have a 1999 Caterham with a Mountney Traditional 12" leather steering wheel. I would like to install a quick release boss that keeps the same wheel position. I have done some preliminary investigation and would undoubtedly need an adaptor etc, but has anyone installed a quick release on this old steering wheel? Aerial_stu
In the end I bought the Caterham version, easy to install and works fine.
