To all have posted over many years re a Xflow Classic with live axle. I am useless at mechanical fettling but all the posts and advice on here are great and encouraged me to be brave. I am 1 year in with with my (first) 97 "7" and have just changed the A frame bush under the axle because cornering was accompanied by a sledge hammer noise at the back end. It is now like driving a new car and even gear changes are better with less snatch at the back end!! And I did it myself, and if I can do it, anyone can! Will try not to get cocky as a man needs to know his limitations. But thanks to all concerned....including Chris at Redline .....

One thing this place definitely is good for is helping owners sort out their car to the way they want them.  There's always someone with the knowledge who is willing to help. 

And, Yes, I dunno where we'd be without Chris at Redline.
