seriouspete
Can anyone enlighten me as to how to test a speed sensor (it's the one that "plugs" into the gearbox) where the old fashioned cable version would have gone.im trying to find out if it's the sensor or wiring, before I blow £130 on a new sensorby the way, it did work, but I saw it was loose, while fixing a reverse light switch after "Fixing "it, it now doesn't work at all Pete

seriouspete
Hello, thanks for the pm,I've now found the sensor is bad, one of the wires was disconnected internally right at the sensor head, so it's not repairable.my next question is, a direct replacement sensor is out of stock, but Burton sell a three wire version. Can I use this to replace my 2 wire sensor. I have google researched and it's not clear at all. any help gratefully received:-) pete
