John Vine
As per the title, really.A couple of weeks ago, I logged a 40-minute run in my R400D. When I later graphed the data, I spotted a couple of Suspend/Resume events. They both looked like this:Each one lasted 1-2 seconds, and occurred at 30s and 36m 40s. For info, this was a test run and I was logging about 40 panels (probably too many?), quite a few of which returned no values. What was going on, and should I be concerned?JV
aerobod - near CYYC
Hi John, I normally only get suspend and resume events at power on and off of the ignition. It may be an ECU reset event which can last a second or so, if that is the case you should see the reset counter increment.
ChrisC
Agreed, or connection problem.
John Vine
Thanks, James. The Reset Counter didn't increment. It started at 175, and stayed at that value throughout. Is the 175 significant? The log showed "Start" at 0m 0s (as you'd expect) and a final "Suspend" at 49m 9s (presumably when I switched off).JV
John Vine
Re #3:Do you mean where the MBE comms unit connects to the diagnostic plug? I'd simply plugged it in, but didn't secure it at all (with a tie-wrap, say). Maybe I should have!JV
