Can someone please help me & identify this alternator on my K Series engine?

It is faulty, so probably needs replacement.

FYI:- VHPD, wasted spark from coil pack. Not sourced from Caterham.

Have you searched on all those numbers, or even the bar codes on the labels ? I would remove it and take it to a local auto electrical shop for testing and overhaul. At least you know it will fit.

Yes, I have but end up none the wiser as with four numbers to chose from I end up with differing results. A variety of prices. A variety of current outputs from 60A to 120A.  So little the wiser.

I had hoped the level of expertise here would be better than any car factor.

As for removing the thing,  I was hoping to do this as a single manoeuvre for

Enquiries both when the alternator on the Crossflow failed and now show that repair is unlikely, local garages know of no local options (the two we had closed down more than a decade ago).

Try Woods Auto - they have around 8,000 alternators and starters - I reckon with the barcodes etc, they'll be able to match you with something
