Graham Hutton
My rev counter started behaving oddly today with the needle jumping all ovber the place intermittently. It is a new 310R that I built and everything has been fine until today. Only done 300 miles so far.Anyone got any suggestions as to what to do other than give the plug on the back a good waggle? Graham Hutton
A bit more info on my excitable rev counter as follows. When I built the car, the only thing that didn't work was the rev counter. I spoke to Caterham and they said they would get Williams to fit a new one at my PBC. Turns out there was no problem with the rev counter but they told me that two of the connectors in the loom were the wrong way around which they changed. Subsequently everything worked perfectly until yesterday.Any more thoughts still welcome :-)
ScottR400D
Do you know where those two connections are? I'd be starting there if you do.
Graham Hutton
Thanks Scott. I've asked Williams who sorted it out.Graham
