Tony Martyr
Just about finished the mechanical work on converting to QED TBs, wasted spark coil etc and I have completly stripped out the old loom - scary stuff. Then I found myself staring at the wire that Peter C marked on his cable listing as "immobiliser ?" I don't like the question mark. Did I disarm the immobiliser before I sarted this work? If I just leave the wire open circuit will the coil relay be inhibited when I connect up the power? Why didn't I think of this before. Does anybody have experience of changing the MEMS ECU and solving this problem? Have a Christmas and best wishes to all our readers Tony Martyr
Tim Seipel
Don't worry, if you are removing the MEMS ecu you'll be OK.
