DIY carbon sill protectors

1. Buy 30mm O.D. tube on fleabay, I got double length for $50 (just in case my cuts were bad)

2. Bit of old timber make up "cutting bench" mounting dremel at 90 Degrees - NOTE! tape on a vacuum cleaner pipe to extract dust from the cutting site (its second only to asbestos for nasty) & mask up.

3. Take out existing rivets/ stainless clean it up - bond in with sikaflex & clamp.

4. Replace rivets with black sprayed new ones. (last photo shows cardboard I pushed them into to ease spraying)

Easy cheap upgrade.
