Area Representative Paul Richards Posted December 15, 2020 Area Representative Share Posted December 15, 2020 Spotted this on eBay. I particularly like the well fabricated engine mounts. .How do people get away with mentioning Caterham in the description?

revilla
When you've finished that one you can sort this one out too https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184581646210
Wrightpayne
Andrew,I just looked at that - might be a shrewd buy for someone - english axle (I think) and 711m crossflow engine - got to be worth several hundred! And £10 seems to be the going rate for chassis's ;-)Ian
revilla
True ... Hadn't thought of it like that but breaking it for parts might be the kindest thing to do!
elie boone
Yes the X Flow engine and banjo axle are worth saving but don't forget the leather covers for the seats !! btw it had an automatic gearbox and the parts that where not presentable he probably burnt in the fire on the background. Tazio
I have a 1990 Caterham chassis nestling at the bottom of my garden, shall I add it to the pile?
Bricol
The crossflow in the ebay ad is only an 1100 or a 1300 though - lower block so a bit pointless unless you actually want either of those.
Bricol
I want to see how they build in that steering box though :)

Olgawld
As already said the xflow in the 2nd link is a 1300 and unsure condition so not worth much more than £100.
