Support Team Shaun_E Posted September 14, 2020 Support Team Share Posted September 14, 2020 It was a great day.Luckily we had a beer fridge We found a new campsite about 2 miles from the venue so cold beer in hand shortly after the event.
Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted September 14, 2020 Leadership Team Share Posted September 14, 2020 Great venue, great competition, great company. Shame it's the end of the 'season' but it's been two more events than I honestly expected this year...
Comp Sec
My first time at Wiscombe and I didn't realise what I had been missing. Fantastic venue and very challenging.Definitely on the calendar for next year
AG2728
Great day out and well worth the 6 hour slog from the grim North. What an impressive place! My first hill climb, as my less than impressive times would suggest but 10/10 fun factor. Will definitely be back.Did we happen to have any friendly photographers on the course?Andy
brianjhall31
Sorry Sprinters but the Covid-19 restrictions on Marshal number meant I couldn't attend this year. It all got a bit crazy with locals on the previous volunteers list being given priority over those from more distant areas. Different regs for sprints than circuit races where its the Trainee Marshals who have been missing out this year.Big disappointment as Wiscombe is a great venue and the Paddock location is good for meeting up during and after the event.Hope we can get back to normal next year and really glad you guys enjoyed the day!
