Super soft or soft

I'm agonising over whether to go for super soft 32R's this time, I've been happy with the standard soft ones for the last few tyre changes but George Polley hasn't got stock at the moment. Obviously the SS compound will be more grippy but not last as long. Does anyone know by how much? I'm getting about 4000 miles from the softs how much will this change. Someone must have been there and done that.

Ive tested a few tyre set ups with 032s, JWs fireblades ss all round, wet or dry you will not improve grip, but as mad manx

says, ss on front and s rears works treats, on heavier Ks ect; although I have a soft spot for 500s,superior in the wet and superb dry, left to right fronts on hot track days, I know the construction of the 500 is to take the torque in its rotation as

fitted, but the fronts will be fine they will degrade up to half as much.
