LouisFeakes
Does anyone know where you can purchase the rubber gaskets than sit between the dials and the dashboard?Mine are starting to perish, crack and fall out. Thanks,Louis
ChrisC
CC or RedLine https://caterhamparts.co.uk/gauges/1705-gauge-o-ring-52mm-gauges-caerbont.htmlI would do the lot because they all tend to fail at the same time.

L777JDP
Do the thinkauto gauge isolators mentioned above definitely fit?One of the issues with the very thin Caterham o-rings is that the gauges can easily be overtightened and then the white plastic surround cracks away from the body requiring the gauge to be replaced. So far I've replaced two. These thicker isolators look a lot thicker so better from a vibration perspective, which is what I suspect the above problem is related to. Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted September 5, 2020 Area Representative Share Posted September 5, 2020 I bought from Redline when ordering other bits. I expect Speedy Cables (who fix gauges) could also supply.
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted September 6, 2020 Leadership Team Share Posted September 6, 2020 The correct gauge o-ring is a square profile rather than round, they're only maybe 1mm thick but work fine. They're designed to locate the gauge to stop it rotating rather than being a damper, they only need the slightest tightening of the clamp nuts certainly not enough to compress them ... if you're breaking the gauges you need to find someone with smaller fingers!!!Stu. SM25T
Those isolators from Think ... at £25 each !! You would need a huge hole in the dash to use them. Way over engineered for our little cars.
