Simon did you find the carrier straps scratched you paintwork ?

what vehicle did you use it on

i have a new Honda CRV  and have been pondering on if these racks

Hi Alan

I used it on a 4 series BMW. No scratches. The light gray padded parts that touch the car are quite soft and I put some tyre tube inside the hooks that fix it to the car. Fits well and is very sturdy.
