Martin_mad
Hi, dropped a drill on my side mounted exhaust and it now has a dent. Can this be repaired or is it a new silencer. £500 from Caterham.
7 wonders of the world
Is it a repackackble version, assuming you've dinged the silencer and not the pipe...?
Wrightpayne
A photo would help. Just use the bar icon with the arrow above it to upload pics.

Martin_mad
I must admit it doesn't look too bad in these pics but I think it is far worse when stood alongside.

Roadsport06
Perhaps a mobile dent removal guy is the best port of call? Glue and a slide hammer should be all you need.
Wrightpayne
Or see if you can rotate the can - might need to drill out rivets (with its own risks!!)Dentmaster worth a go!
aerobod - near CYYC
As that looks to be the re-packable one, you could rotate it 60 or 120 degrees to a less noticeable position, along with a dent removal person having a go at it, depending on where you want the seam to be. Martin_mad
Hi all, thanks for your suggestions, cannot rotate as tail pipe is fixed. Go for a dent guy and polish. Really annoyed at myself for being an idiot.

aerobod - near CYYC
If it is the repackable one with the 6 allen screws near the inlet, the tail pipe is fixed to the inner pipe and the silencer outer can is able to be rotated to any of the 6 positions.
