CPGCharlie
Hi all,Does anyone know of a good spray paint for exhausts that won't flake off? rust needs removing first but have looked for lots of paints but hoping for a recommendationbestCharlie
ScottR400D
Have you considered having them Cerakoted? Good friend had his system done and it looked great, less expensive than you’d think.
SM25T
This takes me back about 42 years .... I recall using Sperex high temperature paint. Not sure I would want to use it on a 7 system.
7 wonders of the world
If its a stainless system (though you mention rust) I'd look to just get it machine polished, once linished back and properly mopped they are pretty easy to keep clean. Toby S
If its unsightly tarnished primaries coming out of the side, Harpic loo cleaner and elbow grease brings them up nicely

Bristol and Bath AR
I can remember nearly asphyxiating myself spraying Sperex onto my exhaust manifold. Toxic stuff!!!
BigCol
ScottR400D said Good friend had his system done and it looked great, less expensive than you’d think. Who did he use? I looked (briefly!) into getting my exhaust and headers done last year and was quoted, if I recall, £300 or so.
