PROBE2
HiI have engine out of R400 k series as part of a full respray.taking opportunity to look at relocating thermostat and future proofing cooling system. No previous issues on running temps, want better access in future and if mods to improve system then all the better. Car has heater and Radtec standard radiator. what is latest thinking on QED, OEM remote thermostat or PRRT approach?welcome any experiences and advise, thanks in advanceregardsPaul
Englishmaninwales
Paul,I've run the QED remote for over 10 years with no problems whatsoever, rock solid temperatures. Added bonus is it makes coolant refills and avoidance of air locks easy.Downside is the price (I was lucky to get one second hand). Requires a small amount of plumbing work.Malcolm

Titanium7
I ran the PRRT system on a R500k and another 200bhp K never any issues, temperature was steady in all conditions. I have some images of the installation if you need to see them

Bricol
I had a relatively new genuine Land Rover PRRT fail on Emeralds rolling road - some abuse with a screwdriver soon got the flow going again. The replacement has been fine for the last decade or more.
