Paul Oggelsby
Morning all,Was on track yesterday with new aero screen fitted, way more fun even in the rain!I've seen some people have raised the height of the central mirror because it blocks the nearside view, which it certainly did. Can anyone suggest where I can buy a post to achieve this please, I know I have the option to remove it but I like having it on track.ThanksPaul
Wrightpayne
What type of mirror do you have? SPA sell different length stems if you have one of those.Ian
7 wonders of the world
Either that or lower it, that way the top of the mirror only just extends beyond the top edge of the aero leaving the forward view un obscured and you still get a rearward view under the X on the FIA roll bar. Limitless
I had the same problem, so I decided to do away with the stem altogether. The result is that I have a perfect rear and much better forward view.
Pauls SLR
I changed from the short stem which seemed to give me a great view of the roll bar cross member to the tall stem which is much better rear view but fairly restricting of the front near side view. Neither ideal but I was planning on swapping back to the shorter version so at least I get a decent view forwards. Limitless, did you fabricate your own bracket to have the mirror in that position or buy something off the shelf? Any change of a pic?

Limitless
Sorry for the late reply. I did make my own bracket. A triangle of 3mm alloy and mounted with stainless countersunk screws/bolts to my aeroscreen. Easy job to do and works a treat.
