SENC
I'm a new owner of a 1965 Super Seven (Cosworth 1500). While I'm not new to Lotus (also have a 69 Elan), this is my first Seven. Just got it home yesterday, it appears highly original and is overall in very good shape, but hasn't been run regularly for quite some time. The engine runs well (at idle and low speed), but brakes and suspension need refreshing before it is safe to do much testing. At any rate, though I recognize most here are newer Seven enthusiasts I'm hoping to find a community that has some experience with these older Sevens as well. Area Representative Piers300 Posted January 4, 2020 Area Representative Share Posted January 4, 2020 The company “Redline” here in the UK can provide you with spare parts and is the official distributor. Plus they export all over the world. They are also very knowledgeable. Piers

7 wonders of the world
Car looks fantastic, bet your over the moon with it. If your looking to trailer it again I wolud look at how its secured, some of the straps wont offer much in the way of restraint in their current set up. John Vine
Oooh, lucky man! That is precisely the 7 I wanted in the 60s (except in BRG) but I couldn't afford it. Enjoy.JV

SENC
Interested in your thoughts on securing, I've been using these type of wheel straps on my 4-wheelers and cars for years with no problem. I will say the picture gives an optical illusion that the straps are nearly perpendicular to the wheel, where in reality they are strapped towards the front and back respectively - perhaps that illusion is what gave you heartburn?
