Andrew Willcox
Having removed the inlet manifold from my K series Caterham I was surprised to find a "leak" of fuel from the return line. Struggling to understand what would create a back pressure through this line and wondering if it is a symptom of a problem else where in the fuel system.Manifold is back on now, just wondering if anyone has experienced the same and can offer any explanation? revilla
A blockage downstream of the point of the leak would do it. Or general positive pressurisation of the whole fuel system as things warm up if you have a one-way valve in the breather?
Andrew Willcox
The one way valve on the breather would make sense! So as the temperature rises through the day a pressure builds in the tank and pushes fuel through the return line. Haven't checked but I'm sure the car will have one...Thanks
