Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 31, 2019 Member Share Posted December 31, 2019 I'd start with Redline, but IIRC the original is identified somewhere in the archives.Jonathan
Englishmaninwales
This is a Rover 200/400 series pre ‘95 part, identifiable on Rimmer’s (with a hacksaw to the original mounting leg on the underside). Unfortunately it is listed as unavailable now.
Ralph45
I did perform a forum search but couldn't seem to unearth anything and searching the web was just as fruitless.Being unavailable would explain that.Thank you again.
ECR
I have this noted The Rover header tank part number is EAP8713 and the support leg needs removing with a hacksaw. The expansion bottle is from a Rover 200 series. 214's and 216's are the same. ROVER 200, 214, 216, 400, 414, and 416 - HEADER EXPANSION WATER TANK - EAP8713 Try Ebay? Area Representative Geoff Brown Posted January 1, 2020 Area Representative Share Posted January 1, 2020 What about a scrap yard? https://www.breakeryard.com/car-parts/rover/
Englishmaninwales
There are plenty of the later round Freelander tanks on eBay which I think are type CC used later on as standard equipment for the K powered cars.
Ralph45
Cheers I have already tried breaker yard with no luck and even tried looking for Honda concerto parts. Then spoke to a mate and he said he'd just sold on a mot failure 216 to someone to use for parts and would ask the guy he sold it to if he needs the header tank,if not it's mine.fingers crossed
