I've just got a new hood bag from Dartford and it comes with two small strips (approx 15mm x 70mm) with velcro hooks on one half and loops on the opposite side of the other half ( both strips are the same). My hood bag came with the 'extra' bits and it was bought back in '99 before the SV existed and the straps attached to the bay are ample enough to fit the bag to the FIA roll bar. I have an SV with a standard bar and the hood bag straps fit perfectly around it without need for the extension pieces so what are these mystery objects really for?
