spinmaster Posted March 15, 2003 Share Posted March 15, 2003 Hi there, Was overtaking and the car lost power. I was very low on fuel so crawled to a petrol station. The car (SLR) now kangaroos when holding on throttle at certain rev's. 5000 in 4th and 7000 in 2nd. The problem goes if I accelerate. Is it something to do with lack of fuel for a while? Any ideas? Dickie Normuss Posted March 15, 2003 Share Posted March 15, 2003 It might be that some crud from the tank has entered the fuel supply system somewhere. Had this on an old car (not a 7). Changed the feul filter which was full of grit and flushed the sytem and it was ok. could be that? Seek forgiveness, not permission. Is it easy to rob a bank and get away with it???
