Leadership Team Shortshift Posted October 6, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted October 6, 2019 So, fitting new 4-point belts to the CSR and noticed that there is a choice of two welded-in bosses/mounting points for the outboard lap straps. My instinct is to use the rear-most fixing point on each side of the car, but I thought I'd best ask POBC for confirmation. Seats are standard leathers so it's not a Tillett-related question.James
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted October 6, 2019 Area Representative Share Posted October 6, 2019 Rearmost makes sense to me but you could ask Bruce or Phil. They would, surely, know why the bosses are there.
Leadership Team Shortshift Posted October 6, 2019 Author Leadership Team Share Posted October 6, 2019 Good idea, Stephen - if no definitive information is forthcoming I will give Bruce a call.James
Wrightpayne
Picture might help.On my imperial S3, there are 6 similarly threaded holes on the upper rear bulkhead tube. One either side of centre in between the seats and two each side between the seat and the outer side skin. Only 4 of them give equidistant spacing of the belts to the centre line of the seat, which are the ones I’ve used.Ian
