Ferrino Posted January 5, 2020 Share Posted January 5, 2020 7 wonders: the Nitrons came supplied with top hats with an inner diameter of 1/2" (just like the Bilstein rubber bushes on the stock dampers). I believe the intention is for them to be used with the Bilstein sleeves which reduce the 1/2" to the bolt size of 5/8". I guess it would have been neater to make the ID of the top-hats 5/8" in the first place... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
7 wonders of the world Posted January 5, 2020 Share Posted January 5, 2020 Indeed, I would prefer the top hats to have the correct bore, might be worth a call to whoever supplied them or if you have a tame machine shop nearby have a chat with them.
