356DNA Posted September 23, 2019 Share Posted September 23, 2019 I'm not sure this is technically tech chat, but anyway...I read somewhere of a good place to get OEM style stripes for our cars and despite searching back I can't find it.I should be getting my new 7 next week and I'm keen to add a black triple stripe and the side graphics.Would someone be kind enough to advise if high quality OEM spec ones can be had from anywhere other than caterham themselves?ThanksDavid. sylvaman Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 Hi all, Interesting topic as new to Caterhams and looking to purchase a classic green 270 and add yellow stripes. Is it true that the aftermarket vinyl stripes are only good for 5 years or is this if left out in all weathers . And as most 7 cars are garaged in poor weather but used in strong sunlight does this still stand ? Perhaps the 5 years is a minimum requirement. Interestingly original graphics on factory saloons and campervans (out in all weathers) last loads longer than this . Anyone done their graphics/striping a few years ago and how are they holding up ?
