andy couchman
Any ideas of where to get stick on number plates these days? Tried a local signs firm to get the basic material and they couldn't help; local car accessory places no longer sell the stick on variety either. My location is N. Gloucestershire/Cotswolds. I want to make up a stick on 'square' number plate to go on the back wing under the light block. The aim will be to cut a hole in the bottom of the light, put in a piece of clear plastic and use the rear light to double up as the number plate light. Has anyone does this; any problems? The aim is both to reduce weight (marginal) and yto keep the rear panel completely 'clean'. On which topic, does a 1988 Q reg car count as pre 1986(?) for MOT regs i.e. does not require a rear fog lamp? Andy Couchman
