AdamQ
I'm sure it should be obvious, but can anybody tell me what the thing ringed red below is?Many thanks, Adam
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 15, 2019 Member Share Posted August 15, 2019 That's Green and Brown/Yellow.Brown/Yellow is usually "Alternator to "no charge" warning light". Green is usually "Accessories fused via ignition switch".So it's probably the dash end of that wire from the loom.JonathanPS: "`Standard colours". AdamQ
Thanks Jonathan - I'm OK with the colours, I just wondered what the traffic light thing with two filled circles and a hollow one represented. The NY wire appears to go to Pin 25 of the ECU which is a 'Programmable I/O Pin'. I was wondering if the traffic light represented shift lights ...Adam
Member Jonathan Kay Posted August 15, 2019 Member Share Posted August 15, 2019 I'd assumed that the open circle was identifying the physical layout of the connector (cf the one to its left above) rather than an electrical way. But I don't know.Could you have a look at the car and see if the connectors are different? A 'phone with a camera might be a convenient tool.Jonathan

There's some very clever detective work in the archives...Jonathan
