Wrightpayne
I have an old style S3 imperial tall FIA bar for when my body protests to getting in and out with a cage. Hopefully a few years off yet!!I purchased second hand but it didnt come with a petty strut. Merely to complete the set up (I wont be doing any sprinting!) I wondered if the struts were a special size for the tall bar or whether they were simply re-drilled at the sleeve?FYI the petty strut comes in two parts that you bolt into the chassis and bar THEN drill the connecting sleeve. I guess I could do some simple / fag packet trigonometry to determine the increase length of the hypotenuse and whether the sleeve is long enough.Anyone know? Drumster
when I changed to a tall FIA bar I don’t recall re-drilling the strut but I might have had to lengthen the hole a wee bit where the 2 parts bolt together
