aerobod - near CYYC
With my MBE 9A4 ECU on my R400D I was doing some logging to check general engine health and experienced a brief ‘jolt’ in the power output at medium throttle. When I looked at the data I saw a single data point with 50ms duration where the ECU reset counter incremented by one. All data otherwise looked fine, except that I had the cam sensor state as ‘invalid’ for that single data sampling interval.Does anyone know whether the ECU reset is most likely caused by a problem with the cam sensor, or whether the cam sensor value would be invalid due to the ECU resetting due to another issue? ChrisC
No expert but looking at this link it seems the ECU reset is likely to be the cause of the cam sensor fault.http://www.sbdev.co.uk/FAQs/General_running.html
