Which one do I have is my question.

I guess it's identifiable by the number of turns lock to lock.

Anyone know? Edit: 1.9 & 1.7 TURNS RESPECTIVELY  from replies below, thanks :-)

Tazio: "One thing to remember, I believe that the 22% rack only comes in narrow track,, so if your car is wide track you will need the unsightly steering arm extension pieces"

but then: "I have specced 22% rack on the car I am building. Caterham assure me that the extensions are no longer needed as they now have longer arms fitted for widetrack. "

assuming it's the same rack still for a year 2000 K SeriesR500

edit to add: from hairpins experience I suspect I have only the 8%

and from CC "

Answer: "Standard fit would be an 8% rack, race cars only had a 22% rack. Regards"

but mine was built as a private track car...

and the answer is:

Product Code: ST47 91>DD>RHD/8%-WID E TRACK/Q.RELEASE from the CKD Kit invoice dated 27/09/2000 R500 Plaque number 38
