Steering Rack - 8% or 22% how to tell the difference? 1.9 & 1.7 turns respectively.

Which one do I have is my question.

I guess it's identifiable by the number of turns lock to lock.

Anyone know? Edit: 1.9 & 1.7 TURNS RESPECTIVELY  from replies below, thanks :-)

edit to add: from hairpins experience I suspect I have only the 8%

22% rack is approx 1.7 turns lock to lock.

gosh, only 0.2 of a turn different. That's a surprise.

Mine has the standard rack and I swapped cars for an hour with a friend’s race car with a quick rack. Neither of us could tell the difference. We both found that strange but if it is only 0.2 of a turn perhaps that is why.

Possibly makes a tiny difference for 1 corner in the Sprint Championship, (Sawbench hairpin at Wiscombe hillclimb), and that’s about it.....not worth it for a road car. Far better to focus on rack height and bump steer.

It doesn’t sound like .2 of a turn would allow me to complete a hairpin without regripping the wheel.

I fitted one to my old car and it transformed how it felt - the usual small movement of my hands became almost telepathic control.  When I got my present car I swapped to a quick rack and noticed no difference, I have no idea why.
